Horrible day, having to put my dog down. But, thanks to the staff (Cherie) it was in good taste, and respectful of pet.. and owner.

I have had a female dog and cat spayed here. The staff is kind and passionate. Both surgeries had very clean and neat stitching. The price was not over inflated like many small town clinics. I'd recommend to anyone.
They are very condescending, they talk down to their paying customers. They are burnt out and need to retire. I have yet to be satisfied by their care. I have two dogs and five cats and have regularly taken them for check ups, shots, and emergencies. This is the only place in Borger to take your pets so there is no competition for them to try to improve their care. It's sad there isn't a better place. I will now take my business to Amarillo.
The vets in my town could not see my sick cat today, because they were either booked or they closed at 12. High Plains was able to schedule me for a 12:30 appointment. With not a lot of time or gas in my car, I rushed to drive 40min to my appointment. I walk in & "Leah" quickly said to me "Are you Faith? We're gonna have to reschedule you, the vet is in surgery"! I asked why no one called me & they claimed Not to have my number, even though I had called & gave them all of my information as well as my cats. I asked if I can wait around & she replied saying "yes, you can drive around town if you like & come back later". I told her no thanks, I will sit & wait here. Leah then went to the back & came back telling me they can't see me after all & they would reschedule me. She Never acted sympathetic or apologized for the inconvenience.. for my time, my gas & my sick cat having to go else where & wait!! I am beyond upset at how I was treated. I asked Leah (front desk) what her name was & with attitude she quickly said I didn't make your appointment!! This is disgusting behavior & terrible customer service. I can't imagine how animals are treated if the owners are treated inhumanly. I will make sure to spread the word about this crappy vet office. Do Not Come Here!!
